About Me

I am a journalist, book author and cultural anthropologist . On the trail of the simple beauty of Greece, in search of the sunken realm of the goddess, wherever the wind blows and the sand is hot. The thyme on the barren rocks smells and goats add their own to the aroma of an island.

My home is in Burgenland / Austria, the youngest, easternmost and sunniest federal state. It's wonderful there too. The Neusiedler See, the vineyards, the small Heurigen and award-winning winemakers.

I write where I am happy. About the food, the festivals, the culture, the isalnds, the myths and the people. Always on the trail of the ancient goddesses.
